This free training will consist of an intensive two and a half hours training for Hispanic employees and middle managers in Wayne and Orleans County next week (same program at boths locations, am and pm, same day). The program is intended to continue improving technical, human resource, and leadership skills of Western NY Hispanic orchard employees.
Topics/speakers at both locations: "Understanding the Basic Principles of Blossom/Fruitlet Thinning and the Reasons and Benefits of Early Crop Load Management, What/Why/How Can I Help?" (Mario Miranda Sazo, CCE LOF), followed by "Workplace Culture" (Mary Jo Dudley, Director Cornell Farmworker Program).
