Eastern New York Commercial HorticultureVisit organic seed production trials and tour the farm to see small-scale production systems at work, including tarping, cover cropping, and the use of assorted mulches and covers to modify the growing environment, with guest speakers Dr. Erik Smith (field crops) and Dr. Collins Bugingo (seed quality)

3:00pm - 4:00pm | Tour OSPREY field trials and learn about wet and dry seed cleaning techniques with hands-on demonstrations
4:00pm - 5:30pm | Field walk. See vegetables, Iroquois White Corn, and dry bean plots [You MUST arrive by 4pm for DEC credits]
5:30pm - 6:00pm | Grower roundtable- learn from your fellow farmers
6:00pm | Stay for a light meal

NYSDEC Pesticide Applicator Recertification Credits: 2.00 credits for categories 1A, 21, and 23.
