Updated Farm Food Safety (GAPs) Training for Produce Growers

This meeting was originally scheduled for February 9-10, 2015. The meeting was rescheduled due to poor weather conditions.

Are you a farmer interested in produce safety? Are your markets asking for food safety plans or third party verification? Do you want to understand produce safety issues and Good Agricultural Practices as well as the FSMA proposed Produce Rule and third party audits? If so, join us for this multi-day workshop on Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) and leave with a farm food safety plan for YOUR farm!

Day 1:
• What are Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs)?
• How can I implement GAPs?
• What does it mean for my farming operation?
• FSMA overview
• Information about third-party audits

Day 2:
• Write a food safety plan for your farm*

$60.00 per person registration includes educational materials, lunch, and refreshments. Add $15 for each additional attendee from the same farm. Register online at or mail in your registration form and payment.
Pre-register by Sunday, March 15, 2015. Space is limited!

*A laptop is required for day 2. If you need to borrow a computer, please let us know in advance!
