August 24, 2015Growers are invited to join a discussion about growing vegetables using season extension, protected culture and high tunnel production methods. Speakers include Amy Ivy and Crystal Stewart of the Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture Program and Judson Reid of the Cornell Vegetable Program. Our hosts for the evening are Francisco and Karen Braun of Shady Grove Farm.
Free and open to the public, includes dinner and materials. Registration is required by August 21 to ensure enough food. To register or for more information contact Amy Ivy at adi2@cornell.edu or 518-570-5991. The program will be held rain or shine, please dress accordingly.
Growers may bring 1 cup of irrigation water for a free alkalinity and pH test.
