Thinking about becoming a certified pesticide applicator in New York, but aren't sure where to start? Join DEC representative Kenneth Klubek for a discussion on who needs to become a certified pesticide applicator, certification types, examination procedures, and recertification. Participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions during the program.
Note: For participants planning to take the pesticide certification exam in 2025, we are planning a follow-up program to this introductory webinar - An in-depth pesticide exam prep course will be held via Zoom on January 13 - 14 (Register for the 2-day prep course here).
Neither this webinar nor the 2-day prep course are substitutes for the 30-hour eligibility course. For more information on upcoming 30-hour eligibility courses, search listings on the NYSPAD website here.
Contact Elisabeth Hodgdon with questions and requests for accommodations (eh528@cornell.edu or 518-650-5323). If you require assistance obtaining pesticide training manuals for studying, please reach out to your county extension office, as many have manuals available to borrow.
