High Tunnel and Greenhouse Grower Update Workshop
December 11, 2014Production of edible crops in greenhouses and high tunnels has been growing significantly in recent years but these crops present management challenges. Cornell Vegetable Program Specialist Judson Reid will teach growers how to select the right variety of vegetables to manage diseases such as leaf mold and powdery mildew. Cornell University IPM specialists will present information on how to manage diseases and insects common in greenhouse production including biocontrol tactics and their role in an IPM program. Flower growers will find the latest information on impatiens downy mildew and appropriate alternatives for the shade garden. See the full agenda attached below.
