Training Classes:

When: Tues., March 17 & Thur., March 19, 2015
 12:30 pm - 4:30 pm
           Registration begins at 12:00 pm
Where: 1581 Rt 88N, Newark, NY 14513

The Certification Exam is scheduled for Friday, March 20, 2015 @12:30- 4:30pm. Register directly with DEC to take the exam. 

These are trainings to help you study to take the exams, and no certification credits will be offered.   All participant will need the most recent Core Manual (2012) and Category Manuals (Category 21 - 2003, Category 22 - 2003, & Category 23 - 2004). You can order it online for yourself by clicking here, or order on the registration form click here.  All reservations must be made by March 2, 2015 to insure manuals are ordered in time.  All participants must have experience working on their own farm, or through employment on another farm.  Please bring a notarized letter signed by yourself or your supervisor attesting to your experience.  Participants must register directly with DEC to take the Exam and have any questions on exam eligibility answered by DEC representatives.  You must register directly with DEC to take the exam.  To register for the exam or if you have questions regarding the Certification Process, please contact Chris Wainwright, Bath DEC office @ 607-776-2165 ext.23.
